About Our Church
The Groesbeck Methodist Episcopal Church was established in 1871. The name was changed in 1939 to
Groesbeck Methodist Church and became the First United Methodist Church of Groesbeck in 1968. As one of the
oldest established Entities of Groesbeck and Limestone County, it has contributed much to the spiritual needs of the
community.

A Family Oriented Congregation
Worship opportunities and activities for God's Children of all ages can be found at the First UMC.
There are Sunday School classes for all ages. We are a Kid Friendly Church that provides meaningful
worship and Christian Activities for children, youth and adults.
